Special Pizza Dough



300 gr white flour

100 gr rye flour

1 sachet dry yeast

some warm water

1 pinch salt

1 Tbsp olive oil


  1. mix the try yeast with several table spoons of warm water and rest for 10 – 15 minutes in a warm place
  2. mix and knead all ingredients thoroughly
  3. cover dough and let rest for an hour in warm place
    knead dough again well and roll out into size you want for your pizza  (for us usually a generous hand full of dough)

Tip: if you have dough left over you can make breakfast rolls out of it, put in fridge for a couple of days or freeze it

My Favourite Topping

fresh organic sliced tomatoes (or organic chopped tomatoes from can)

2 cloves garlic

1 medium sized onion

black olives

some capers


and loads and loads of fresh basil


Veggies Side Dish

1 small red onion

1 courgette (zucchini)

1 can of chopped organic tomatoes

1 yellow pepper

mixed Italian herbs (oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme)


  1. fry onion, garlic, & pepper in olive oil (until onions glassy & peppers slightly browned)
  2. add zucchini
    fry for another 2 minutes
  3. add tomatoes & herbs heat up—done.
